Intergenerational KIOKU
Intergenerational KIOKU is a program that promotes literacy, encourages an attitude of mutual respect, multigenerational learning, and the refinement of social, cognitive and emotional skills. KIOKU is operated by instructors who have undergone extensive training and receive close supervision throughout the year. The activity takes place in various formats, such as small groups, pairs, or with the entire class engaged simultaneously in multiple group tables, each led by a peer coach (instructor). The program offers an enriching and meaningful experience for both students and instructors, while creating a unique intergenerational bridge that empowers the entire community.

The program strengthens linguistic skills, stimulates creative thinking, strengthens self- and social awareness, and encourages positive social behavior patterns. Intergenerational KIOKU faces the challenge of creating meaningful connections between generations, reducing prejudices and developing social and emotional skills.

KIOKU was proven to be effective in reducing the feeling of loneliness and increasing the feeling of mental well-being in a study that showed a significant improvement in these indicators after participating in the program.
The study was published in the prestigious journal Games for Health and is included in the publication database of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) of the USA.

Adi Segev - Director of Development, Coaching, and Training
An expert in the field of developing programs for teaching language through theater, with rich experience in operating theater groups for the elderly and children. Theater director and playwright, partner and founder of Dialogi ® method. In addition, Adi has extensive experience and proven expertise in teacher training, and pedagogic instructors. Her ability to transfer knowledge and skills effectively at all levels of training is a significant asset in the development and implementation of the program.

Roberto Chernitsky - CEO of KIOKU Studio and General Manager of the program
Expert in the field of educational technology, co-founder and pedagogical director of the Dialogi ® Method. Computer Engineer with a Master's degree in Education. In addition to these duties, Roberto is currently developing research towards a PhD at Bar-Ilan University in the Faculty of Social and Health Sciences, combining his rich experience with advanced research fields. His doctoral thesis focuses on the development of innovative social interventions to improve quality of life and mental well-being.
